Geum plants bring vivacious colours to your garden, creating a striking display that’s perfect for maximum impact. They flower from May to July, with some varieties like Geum 'Totally Tangerine' blooming from May through to September.

With a height of 30-35cm (12-14in) and up to 75cm (30in) for taller varieties, geums are fully hardy and reliable perennials. Once considered modest border plants, modern breeding has elevated them to showstoppers, frequently stealing the spotlight at the Chelsea Flower Show. Their resilience, extended blooming periods, and resistance to slugs and snails make them a favourite among gardeners.

Grow geums in moist, humus-rich soil in a bright and sunny location, though they can tolerate some shade. Regular division helps keep plants blooming strongly. Supplied as established, garden-ready plants in a 9cm pot, they are an excellent choice for enhancing borders and creating a vibrant garden display.
